It’s a nerve-wracking day as it is; Mia Simon really didn’t need to get rear-ended in the Liberty Tunnel. While this may not be the worst thing to happen to her in a while, it’s definitely an inconvenience. Yet as she gets to know the man behind the wheel, her heart and emotions become involved against her better judgment. Not only is Austin Turner handsome, he’s a gentleman in every sense of the word. There’s also an air of despondency about him, one that draws Mia to him.
Unfortunately there are things in both of their lives that interfere in a possible HEA.
Mia is on an emotional rollercoaster, and she continually second-guesses her feelings for the too-good-to-be-true Austin. Her inner turmoil is touching. Austin is a gentleman to the nth, which many may find to be boring (unfortunate for them), but look deeper through Mia’s eyes. Beneath the surface he exudes a quiet strength and power that only adds to his appeal.
I found Accidental Fate to be sweet and charming. A pleasurable way to spend some "me" time.
